Scripture:

Isaiah 41:10 & 13

Hand Drawn Flying Dove

10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 13 For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.

Grace and Comfort

In Sept. of 2022. I went through a scary time involving my health. Sept 7th, I experienced symptoms I didn't understand while walking into work. Although I had similar signs in previous weeks before Sept 7th, I did not know what was really going on with me at the time. That night Karen and I went to the emergency room where it was determined I had a heart attack that morning.

It was frightening to think the mild symptoms I'd experienced could be the result of something so serious. I stayed in the hospital for 2 nights. It was that 2nd night that I felt some anxiety. It's the unknown that gets to ya. But with prayer and deep breathing I began to feel a calming. And a feeling of, God has got this situation under control.

The very next morning Sept.9th, I was scheduled for a cath procedure to find the cause of the attack.

My doctor located the 98% blockage in my LAD artery which he was able to repair with a stent. I was a new man and back home that afternoon. Amazing and Amen! Praise God! For Giving Me, My Wife and My Family a new lease on Life.

"Life is Good"

Our bodies begin to break down physically and emotionally as we age. Our daily routine becomes harder to manage and takes more time.

We compensate for whatever gets harder by adjusting what we do and how we do things. But I know that with Jesus as my personal Savior, through Him and with Him all things are possible. Please Read Psalms 139.

Reflection Written by Jay Johnson

Prayer:

Dear God Thank You for your unconditional Love. Thank you for my wife, children, family, and friends that you've placed in my life. Continue to Guide us and bless us all Lord.

In Jesus's name, we pray, Amen.

Please take a moment to consider what God is speaking to you through the scripture passage and the devotional reflection.

Then, take some time for prayer—pray for your own soul, and lift up

our sisters and brothers who are struggling with illness, as well as their family members and friends who are affected by these challenges. May God's healing touch be upon them, bringing comfort, strength, and restoration to their bodies, minds, and spirits. Amen.

You can also listen to the music provided below as a backdrop

for your time of prayer.
